Light Art Festival
From November 28th, 2024, till January 19th, 2025, we will include the Light Art Festival route into our tours so you can enjoy all the beautiful art works and light decorations on and next to the canals of Amsterdam!
The start and end location is our usual location at the dock in front of Keizersgracht 196 (next to the Westerkerk and behind the Anne Frank house).
Ticket Tour: Join our ticket tour and sail past all the light art works while enjoying a nice glass or two or three... of gluhwein (mulled wine), wine, beer, soda etc. and salty nuts, Dutch cheese, and Dutch sweets. We will provide a 90-minute intimate (max. 10 passengers) canal tour. Captain Sebi will tell you something about the different art works along the route in Dutch and English!
We offer 2 ticket tours of 1,5 hour daily which will include the complete route of the festival of lights. As the lights are on from 17.00 onwards, we offer 2 daily ticket tours (except on Mondays) starting at 17.00 and 20.00.
Private tours: Or book a private tour and have the boat all to yourself. We offer 2 private 90 minutes tours per night (except on Mondays) at 17.00 or at 20.00 including unlimited drinks and some snacks. If desired the 20.00 tour can be extended for half an hour.

PRIVATE LIGHT TOUR
Book a private light tour and have the boat all to yourself and enjoy the light art works with friends, family, or colleagues. Our boat is covered with a roof with windows all around and we have a heater and blankets on board so you will always be dry and cozy.
PRICES
Private tour: Price is 300 euro for a 1,5-hour private light tour and 20 euro per person for unlimited drinks and Dutch snacks. The 20.00 tour can be extended with 30 minutes for 100 euro extra.
Ticket tour: Price for a 90 min ticket tour including unlimited drinks and Dutch snacks is 50 euro per ticket.
All prices are including vat and tourist tax.

Winter weather
Our boat is covered with a roof with windows all around and we have a heater and blankets on board so you will always be dry and cozy.
Location
Please note that for the light festival period we will start our tour on a different location. We will announce the exact location here as soon as the light route is known, probably around October.
Duration and time of ticket tour
We offer 2 tickets tours of 1,5 hour which will include the complete route of the festival of lights. As the lights are only on from 17.00 -23.00, we offer 2 daily ticket tours (except on Mondays) at 17.00 and 20.00.
Private tours
we offer 2 private tours per night (except on Mondays) at 17.00 or at 20.00 for 300 euro plus 20 euro per person for a 1,5-hour private tour including unlimited drinks and some snacks. If desired the 20.00 tour can be extended for half an hour for an additional 100 euro. A maximum of 12 guests can join your private tour as per our license.

Tickets and Reservations
You can buy your tickets either by sending us a request in the “book now” box, call us or on the boat itself if places are available. For private tours please contact us so we can make a tailor made offer together.
Route
Our tour will include all the lighted artworks and more.
Payment
We do ask for a deposit as a final confirmation and no-show insurance. The remaining amount can be paid on board either with cash or with card. We accept Dutch debit cards, Visa, MC, American Express, JCB and more.
Toilet
Yes we have a full operating toilet on board
Drinks
In our light tours drinks and snacks are included. Please refrain from using your own consumptions.
Buggy
Buggies are no problem, please fold in when entering the boat if possible.
Wheelchair
Private tour: We can also take a wheelchair aboard but do mind that the entry of the boat is not especially catered to disabled persons and has a relatively steep step to get in the boat. Also, we have limited space on board and thus a non-folding wheelchair will have to stay in the saloon or on the back deck.
Ticket tour: Unfortunately, we cannot take a wheelchair on board as we do not have room to store it. A foldable walker can be stored. Please be aware that we have a relatively steep step to get into the boat.
Children
Children under 2 are free. As we only take 10 guests per ticket tour, we can unfortunately not give a discount for children.
Animals
We do allow animals on our boat but only on our private tours as on ticket tours this might not be desired by our other guests.
Bad weather
Our boat is covered and warm in windy and rainy conditions. We will only cancel the tour if a weather alarm is given by the local authorities. In this case we will of course inform you beforehand.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the boat but we do allow smoking on the rear-deck of the boat, separate from other passengers.
